Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2025
We (“App”, “we”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and when it may be shared.
1. Data We Collect
- No account required. The App works without creating an account.
- Content and settings. Habits, names/titles, schedules, notes, streaks, and preferences you add are stored locally on your device.
- Timers and notifications. Local timer state and scheduled local notifications.
- Health data (optional, via HealthKit). With your explicit permission, we may read data such as workouts or exercise minutes to power features you enable.
- Sync (optional). If enabled, your data syncs via Apple iCloud under your Apple ID.
- Diagnostics (optional). Crash and usage reports are collected only if you enable system sharing (e.g., Apple diagnostics). We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
2. How We Use Data
- Provide and improve habit tracking, timers, reminders, insights, and analytics.
- Synchronize your data across devices through iCloud (if enabled).
- Access HealthKit data strictly to support the features you choose — never for advertising, resale, or sharing with third parties.
3. Data Sharing
- We do not sell your personal data.
- HealthKit data is never shared with third parties.
- Payments are processed securely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.
4. Analytics
- To improve the App, we may use an analytics service (e.g., Amplitude).
- Collected information includes screens viewed, buttons tapped, and general device details (model, iOS version, language).
- Analytics does not collect your name, email, or payment details.
- Please review the provider’s privacy policy for more details.
- You can learn more here: Amplitude Privacy Policy
5. Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored locally on your device.
- If you enable iCloud sync, storage and transfer are handled securely by Apple using their built-in encryption.
- We apply reasonable technical measures, but no method is 100% secure.
6. Your Choices
- Manage Health permissions: iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
- Manage notifications: iOS Settings → Notifications or in-app.
- Delete data: in-app reset/delete, or delete the App (this removes local data). iCloud data is controlled by your iCloud settings.
- Manage subscriptions: iOS Settings → Tap your name → Subscriptions → Dayrise. You can cancel anytime; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Restore Purchases: If you reinstall the app or change devices, you can restore your subscription using the “Restore Purchases” option in the App.
8. Children
- The App is not intended for children under 13 (or local minimum age).
9. Updates to this Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision.
